I am User:Darkred, this is my new account. I have scanned the images below and Hafez_Fixed.jpg above from real photos that i took myself, and not digital ones. So they are all my own with 100% certainty. They are 2 images in different modifications. --Spahbod 22:39, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you took the pictures, then how about providing some information on the creation process? Things like where and when you took the pictures, and what camera and lens you used. --Carnildo 06:51, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded by Richard Harvey (notify). This image is redundant to Image:Torre del Campello.jpg which resides on Commons. I have deleted the original (the one on Wikipedia) under WP:CSD#I9 earlier today. The original uploader, Richard Harvey, re-uploaded the image and asked me why I had deleted the image. During the discussion (see my talk page), Richard explained that he opposes transferring images to Commons (at least in the manner it's done now), because the transferred image disappears from his contributions list. I think that it's not enough to keep the image, and it fact if a precedent (of keeping) is set it means that CSD I9 should be reviewed. So I'm arguing for re-deletion of the image (after the new information on the discussion page is transferred to Commons).- Conscious 18:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I originally created and uploaded this image, 1st November 2005, for use in the English Wikipedia article El Campello, which I also created, with the image title Image:El_Campello_Tower.jpg. At a later date it was downloaded by another user and re-uploaded with a different image title ie Image:Torre del Campello.jpg for use in the Spanish version of the article. Effectively making the second image a Duplicate copy with a different name. The only articles to use my image are the English Wiki El Campello Article and the subsequent Spanish Wiki version. I did not list the image to be moved to commons, and do not wish it to be. Therefore any duplicated copy by an unknown editor should not over-ride my original intent. The Original Image should remain and the Duplicate should be deleted. Had this copy been spotted earlier, or a message on my talkpage regarding the IfD been made by the person requesting it, then a request for deletion of the second image would have been made. Should this original image be deleted and the copy retained then a wikipedia precedence is being set for any editor to arbitrarily download any images, change the titles, re-upload them and delete the originals. Which would have a catastrophic effect on Wikipedia, where multiple articles use the same image. It would become a legitimate target to vandals. Richard Harvey 18:44, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Following consultation with Meegs this objection to deletion is cancelled. My list of contributed images will be moved to Wiki Commons, over the course of the next week. Richard Harvey 10:18, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
With respect, the original uploader/authors intent is neither here nor there - the photo was tagged with copyright info that permits it being moved to commons, permits anything in fact: "The copyright holder of this image allows anyone to use it for any purpose including unrestricted redistribution, commercial use, and modification". While it has been renamed, it's been renamed to a more accurate title. Delete en version. It's always best to upload to commons if you've choosen to use such an open licence.
