Yuanzhou District (袁州区) is a district of Yichun, Jiangxi.

In the ancient times, Yuanzhou was a famous place for its education. Han Yu, who was a famous poet in Tang Dynasty, once was the local governor of Yuanzhou. He made Yuanzhou a famous education city of China. There is a road named Changli Xiang in his memorial.[citation needed]
