Herman Kauz

Herman Kauz (1928 – January 30, 2020) was an American author and teacher of the martial arts, in particular tai chi.

Biography[edit]

Herman Kauz was born in New York City in 1928. He was graduate of the University of Hawaii, studied at the University of Chicago, and held a master's degree from Columbia University.[1]

Kauz studied and trained in Aikido, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, and tai chi.[1] He died on January 30, 2020, at the age of 92.[2]
