Roy Stride is the lead singer and guitarist/pianist of pop/alternative band, Scouting for Girls. He was born in London, UK. He met drummer Pete Ellard at his Cub Scouts group and bassist Greg Churchouse at Queensmead School in South Ruislip, Middlesex. At the age of fourteen, Churchouse made Stride get an acoustic guitar instead of a Sega Megadrive.[1]
