Care Bears: To The Rescue is a 2010 Canadian-American animated film based on the Care Bears franchise. It was released on April 3, 2010. It serves as the first film of the Care Power Team film series, and a standalone sequel to Oopsy Does It!.[1]

Premise[edit]

Tonight is the Rescue Awards, where three bears win an award, and their rescue is presented in an 3D animated segment, as Funshine wins for Most Daring Rescue, Cheer wins for Most Caring Rescue and Bedtime and Grumpy win for the Best Teamwork Rescue.

In Funshine's rescue, Funshine tries hard to find someone to rescue, but when Bumpity and Tweazle cause Grumpy's new automatic vacuum to go haywire, causing Funshine to destroy it, Funshine is required to help Grumpy fix it, so Bumpity and Tweazle start more trouble for Funshine to rescue Oopsy, who gets caught in a twister caused by Bumpity and Tweazle, only for the two to get caught into a twister, finally giving Funshine the chance to rescue the two and stop the windy weather. In Cheer's rescue, she saves a Gobblebug from falling off a tree and decides to take it in as a pet, but it later becomes a pest when the Gobblebug eats everything in sight, and when it goes after Share's garden, they go to an unoccupied cloud to plant a huge vegetation garden for the Gobblebug, when a flock of his family swarms into the garden.During the ceremony, Oopsy accidentally causes Grumpy to fall into the venue's basement, as Grumpy struggles to find his way out.In Bedtime and Grumpy's rescue, it is Free Pillow Day, and Grumpy tries to give Oopsy a chance to enjoy his day with a robot to work at the free pillow concession stand, but Oopsy wants to work at the concession stand, so he messes with the robot's settings to make it stop, but it goes haywire and starts throwing pillows everywhere. Bedtime then gets hit with a pillow, and Grumpy and Bedtime team up to put the robot to sleep with a lullaby, also putting Oopsy to sleep in the process. While Bedtime gives his acceptance speech, Oopsy rescues Grumpy just in time for the latter to give his acceptance speech, but in a last-minute addition, Oopsy wins an award for Most Unlikely Rescue.
