Itamar (name)

Itamar (Hebrew: אִיתָמָר, romanizedʼĪtamar) is Hebrew masculine given name. Variants in English include Etamar, Isamar or Ithamar. It likely originally meant "island of palms" or "father of Tamar".[1] In Aramaic, the word means "saying".[2][3]

In the Tanakh, the name is borne by Ithamar, the youngest son of Aaron. Itamar may also refer to:
