An unlucky number for sailors?[edit]

An IMDb comment (on the movie Battleship) said that 232 is considered unlucky by sailors, so they would never utter it. I did a brief Google search to verify this, but there was very little documentation about this idea. (Yes, it exists, but I only found a few bulletin boards that mentioned it.) I've served almost 30 years in the U.S. Navy and enjoy knowing about old traditions, wordplay, and so forth, and I had never heard of this. Is this just a UK (Royal Navy) thing? Whether it is or not, does this "bad luck" notion have enough notability to include here? My instinct says no. Thanks. Holy (talk) 19:47, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
