It appears that the Maslov index originates with Victor Pavlovich Maslov and his work Perturbation theory and asymptotic methods [(Russian), Izdat. Moskov. Univ., Moscow, 1965. Could someone confirm this? Tkuvho (talk) 16:05, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
