A way to condense the list[edit]

Maybe it would be more efficient to read if the hospitals were listed in alphabetical order, with the town name following. SliceNYC 18:19, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Purpose of the list[edit]

It's not clear to me what purpose a simple list of hospitals serves. I would suggest gathering more information about the hospitals on this page (see List_of_hospitals_in_Alabama) rather than pushing out to a separate page, especially since many of the hospitals will never have a separate page. I don't know if it is necessary to list the number of beds (as in the Alabama and Oregon lists), but the type of care, a link to the hospital's home page, and even a street address would seem to provide some utility to the list. Revamp![edit]

I replaced the body of this list with a new format I'd been working on offline for a while. It includes all facilities previously listed, which will not be removed without cause. I'm still working on it. PLEASE feel free to help out! I just ask that any suggestions on adding or removing columns or any other major changes be left as a comment for discussion here while I actively work.

Thank you!

Info Wanted[edit]

Creating a thread for requests for hard-to-find information. Anyone working on this list who is at a loss for information on a hospital listed, esp. founded and closed dates, should reply to this with whatever is needed so others who may have other tools can provide help. Arbour-HRI: Desperately trying to find out when this hospital opened. The only place I could find any statement on when it opened is in its Bloomberg company profile, which states it was founded in 1983. However, I can find mention here and there of its existence before that, such as a mention in the New England Journal of Medicine of a symposium being held there in 1974.
If anyone else can find info that would be super helpful! Mangocove (talk) 22:58, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
