about arm cortex a78's maximum clock rate[edit]

it says that cortex a78 has max clock rate of 3.0 GHz for smartphones, but mediatek dimensity 8200 has a cortex a78 of 3.1GHz and this chip is designed for smartphones as it is mt6xxx (mt6896) not mt8xxx for tablets. does this mean that the maximum clock rate is incorrect or is this maximum clock rate not enforced on manufacturers?

same question for snapdragon 870 but for cortex a77 84ds84d8s (talk) 13:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
