Copyright violation[edit]
The whole history section appears to be a direct cut and paste from two sites AJASSE IPO and Facebook and this material has been deleted. Wikipedia does not accept material in breach of copyright violation - please do not replace such material Velella Velella Talk 10:39, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
The history of any community in Yoruba land should and must not be altered in any way, that is why the history of Ajasse Ipo appears the same in the two sites User:Holysholay —Preceding undated comment added 13:29, 8 June 2011 (UTC).
The history page on Ajasse Ipo was developed based on the community history on the community website AJASSE IPO. The community website was developed by User:Holysholay and he also write the article Ajasse Ipo on wikipedia. Facebook must have also copied the said history on the community website because the history of a yoruba community must not be altered in words and in text. Velella should Please kindly assist because User:Holysholay is a new wikipedia user. Even if the history be deleted, He should help to restore the article Ajasse Ipo on wikipedia. User:Holysholay
- I am of course always very willing to help any editor, new or old and to improve any article. In this case however, I cannot restore the version of the article that you last edited because, as explained above, it contained a large chunk of copyright material. If you are indeed the author of the text on the website and if your community agrees to give permission for its use than there is helpful guidance at Donating copyright material.
- But, and this is a big but, all Wikipedia content can be edited and improved by any editor on Wikipedia. Text which in your words ".....must not be altered in words and in text" is wholly inconsistent with Wikipedia principles. The text, as you had included it, does not match any of the guidance in Wikipedia manual of style so it is inevitable that it would be changed very considerably.
- If you agree with this analysis and agree not to re-introduce this contentious material, I can remove the Copyright violation tag and restore the article to its short form where I last left it. Velella Velella Talk 21:12, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
