Articles for Creation Submission

I am submitting his article for approval. The site was recommended to me by my therapist. I also found a recommendation in a book he lent me. It was also recommended in a NAMI meeting by the meeting leader and then again by my daughters residential treatment coordinator. I have consulted the site over the last 4 years as I supported my daughters through successful treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder. It has been an incredible resource. I am not affiliated with this organization; I am a mother and ED nurse. I researched all the information on the Internet with the exception of the history which was provided to me by e-mail request by the site’s director. I did the best I could to follow the Wikipedia format (what a learning curve) and I understand that, once accepted, I will have no ongoing role with this article to insure its impartiality. I hope to add additional mental health Wikipedia articles.166.137.139.64 (talk)

=History=

My name is Kathi Stringer and I was the webmaster of BPDCentral and I created and founded the Nook and added it to Randi's website. Please revert the changes I made because as it stands right now the history is in error. You can verify that I created and found the Nook which was later changed to BPDFamily. You can verify with Randi if you like. My website is Toddlertime.com. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:A990:EE00:C4C6:CE74:3BD1:C5D4 (talk) 07:09, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Oh, I found this on the BPDFamily.com website. It is a post by Randi that validates I found and created THE NOOK. If you have any questions, please post them on the talk page. http://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=37505.0 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:A990:EE00:61C2:2C12:EB3B:2E01 (talk) 18:00, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
I have reverted your edit and ask that you do not enter it a third time. Please let impartial editors review this matter and decide. Wikipedia has very specific standards for impartiality, verifiability, conflict of interests, and self promotion, all of which are in play here. Please stop.
We now have your thoughts here on the article talk page where they belong and impartial editors will take it from here.
With respect to the matter at hand, please understand that not every contributor, editor, publisher, webmaster, moderator, employee, etc. can or should be named in an article like this. Also, removing the books co-author which is on the ISBN registration and replacing it with your name is not constructive.
Any additional discussion on your role as an editor on this article should be held on your talk page. Please see the comments there regarding Wikipedia’s standards for impartiality, verifiability, conflict of interests, and self promotion : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:2605:E000:A990:EE00:B557:B593:2B6:3759

The front page states the following, "This support group was created under the name "The Nook" in July 1998 by Paul Mason MS and Randi Kreger as a users group for the readers of their book......]". However, Paul Mason did not create the Nook. In fact, he never had any input or interest in the BPDCentral during the 2 years I was Webmaster. To say he created the Nook, or influenced building the Nook, or was instrumental in making the a Nook is re-writing history. I have exchanged over hundreds of emails with Randy but never a single one with Paul. Paul Mason never created a single thing all the time I was webmaster on that site. Paul Manson was not around and was flatly not even interested. To state "This support group was created under the name "The Nook" in July 1998 by Paul Mason MS" is a major mistruth. As for the page's current sources on the History, the talk page lists the site owner or BPDFamily R. Skip Johnson as a source of the history. That as a source sounds like a major conflict of interest. And I am not self-promoting, I am just stating a fact. Also, I was not under the employment BPD central. As a volunteer I own the credit for my own work. It is also suspicious to ask Skip Johnson of BPDFamily For the history and list it here without sources, while demanding sources from me (I provided one) while reverting my edits as the creator of the Nook. If you have any evidence the Nook was created by Paul Manson or that he had anything to do with it, please provide that evidence here. And so far the feeling of impartiality doesn't ring here so far. Are you in any way active or have been active with BPDFamily? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.136.155.200 (talk) 22:35, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
This article is about BPDFamily, not BPDCentral-Nook. Only the member list/database was conveyed to BPDFamily. There is agreement that the list/database was the property of one (or both) of the book authors who then sold it. The prior operations of BPDCentral-Nook are not relevant. Kathi Stringer was not a member/founder of BPDFamily. Not clear if Randi Kreger was/was not a part of BPDFamily.166.137.136.23 (talk) 21:05, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
You state "The group originated as an online, single-title book discussion group created after the 1998 release...." However, this online discussion group was called The Nook, created and founded by Kathi Stringer. Even Randi agrees with this. No matter how you slice it, the Nook was created in 1998, and BPDFamily.com was created in 2007. However, the date BPDFamily.com claims to have been found is 1998, the year I created and founded the Nook. So if you insist on rewriting history, then BPDFamily.com needs to change their true founding date to 2007. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.136.155.200 (talk) 04:58, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
