At first I had trouble believing that a car driving enthusiast like Jay Leno would ever want to build a car running Microsoft Windows. But when you look at it closely you notice that the Windows computer doesn't control any driving function. It only provides redundant driving information for the kind of driving enthusiast who doesn't really need gauges, being used to estimating the speed (and other aspects) of a car by the sound of the motor, its vibration, and visual and tactile road cues.--AlainV (talk) 14:31, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Noted fashion designer and Formula One enthusiast, John Bartlett, has teamed up with the French automobile maker Renault in the creation of a concept car that will reportedly be powered by biomass recycled from prominent French restaurants and will utilize a Mac Air-based computing system for direct control of all main power functions and related auxiliary subsystems. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.20.188.224 (talk) 02:37, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
