Back in the 80s i used to own the 4 square store in Herbert which had the Post Office agency i see in your article that you state that the Local Garage has the Agency? Does my old Store still exist i would appreciate it if you would let me know as i sold the Store back in the 80s and moved back to Australia. SINCERELY YOURS PETER OSBOURNE.

I don't know for sure but I'll try to remember to check (and maybe get a photograph) the next time I'm up that way. I have never lived in Herbert myself but still have family there and have stayed there a few times with Laura Craig my great-aunt.
