Acronym?[edit]

Does TERA stand for anything or is it just a trademark name?

Silly name if you ask me. GIGA would seem more appropriate...

Use?[edit]

Note sure Computing is the right project? It seems like it was used in a few digital video applications perhaps, but not sure every in a computer application. W Nowicki (talk) 22:33, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The word also is pretty strong there, since this connector never actually caught on for networking AFAIK (I've been unable to locate a single network switch, card, or transceiver), and it's very likely that it never actually caught on in broadcast.
