I have moved your page to this name; it seems you had misspelled it. Do you know when he was born and when he died? It would be useful to add these dates to the article. I just did some very superficial Google books research and found that there are several of his family members who were of some importance in ancient Rome. I got confused and didn't manage to figure out which offices Caeso Quinctius held and when. If you know, can you add that to the article? Thank you, Kusma (talk) 09:57, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The sources I see all use "Quinctius", see Gutenberg's edition of Livy (English translation by John Henry Freese, Alfred John Church, and William Jackson Brodribb) or Latin "Caeso erat Quinctius, ferox iuuenis qua nobilitate gentis, qua corporis magnitudine et uiribus." It fits with them all being part of gens Quinctius. Some explanation of the confusion between Quintius and Quinctius is at the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology, which says "the ancient and more correct form of the name is Quinctius", so both seem to be used. For consistency with his father, who is at Quinctius in most language Wikipedias, I would prefer not to change the name at the moment. But I am not an expert; if you want, I can go and try to find one (there's always lots of people who knows things around in Wikipedia). Happy editing, Kusma (talk) 15:11, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
