Verification of citations[edit]

I have noticed that you are adding similar information to many articles about politicians. The citation you are using, the top-level page at http://votesmart.org/, does not provide readily identifiable information on the subject matter, per the WP:Verifiability and WP:BLPSOURCES policies. The information may be located somewhere within the Vote Smart website. If it is, you should use a direct link to the specific page that contains this information; and if it is not, then you should not be using this for a citation. As it stands, it appears to me that many of these citations deserve a Template:Failed verification tag.--Spiffy sperry (talk) 19:56, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. I copied what I thought were links to specific statements. Let me see if I can get better links. DerFritzBauer (talk) 20:09, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
