"self-made"? I think, this professional pic needs an OTRS ticket. See the other contributions of this author too. --Mutter Erde (talk) 19:49, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am Jane Birkin's brother, Andrew. I have taken many photos of my sister over the years (as well as many others) and believe I have the right to upload them. If you want further proof, feel free to contact me at andrewbirkin@btinternet.com

Hi, if you are the copyright owner, I say Thank you for this nice pic :-). But I am only a normal user, not an admin. But I'm sure, someone will contact you. Anyway, you have only the right to upload your own pics or pics for which you have an permission. For example: Pics as this Image:Judy Campbell in "Blithe Spirit" with Noel Coward.jpg (by en:Cecil Beaton; died in 1980) are very problematic without a proof, that he has donated his rights to your family. Deleted. This does need permission sent to OTRS, The uploader was asked in July, but so far as I can see nothing has yet arrived. I do hope it will be possible to get this in order that we can undelete this nice image. See also Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Judy Campbell in "Blithe Spirit" with Noel Coward.jpg where the same uploader has claimed "own work" on a photo by Cecil Beaton.
