[Qari Abdul Ghani Andalib] (1955–2024), reciter and teacher of the Holy Quran, who spent 50 years of his life on reciting, teaching and reading of the Holy Quran in Afghanistan and Iran countries.

Biography

[Qari Abdul Ghani Andalib] was born in Chaharbagh Firooza village located in Injil district of Herat City.

Career

Qari Abdul Ghani Andalib known as Qari Saeed in Iran was a famouse character who passed almost all his life on recitation of holly Quran Kareem, trained thousands of Muslim men and women on Quran rules, how to read correctly the Quran and shared effective information on Islamic topics for learners, started Islamic cultural advocacy against the government of the time with a group of young people of Fakhr al-Madaris students, and due to the pressures and tortures in 1358 A.H. he was forced to migrate to other country and finally he settled in Torbat Jam ciry of Iran country, where he started teaching the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences in Fakhr al Madras Torbat Jam and Hanafia Mosque. He trained hundread of students on Islamic topics and Quran recitation rules during his residency in Iran country. He returned to his homeland( Afghanistan) in 1371 H.H. He was appointed as a teacher in Saifi Heravi High School and did not spare any kind of effort in the way of serving the future builders of the Islamic country. All the teachers and students of Saifi Heravi High School are witnesses to this claim.

The late Qari Andalib participated in major national and international Qur'anic competitions, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. Later, they got the title of Afghanistan's sweet-voiced nightingale, means ( Andalib).

Qari Andalib had a social and cultural personality, who was present in all the happy and sad events of the people of Herat city, his sociability had caused him to teach private lessons in the areas and private homes of the people of Herat on Quranic lessons who graduated thousands of students in Herat and Torbat Jam cities of Iran and Afghanistan, who most of those learners are now trainers and famouse Quranic character in their socities.

From Qari Andalib two sons (Who are also Quran reciters) and four daughters are left, all of whom are responsible for the sacred duty of teaching in education and higher education.
