Tony Strong (1921–present) is a noted British Scenic Artist working in film, TV, commercials, music video, and theatre [1] . Born in 1921, the son of cinematographer Percy Strong [2] and singer Gwen Strong, Tony began his career at 15. He has collaborated with many film directors, most notably Stanley Kubrick, Ken Russell, David Lynch, Sidney Lumet, and production designers Roy Walker, Derek Jarman and Eileen Diss and Stuart Craig. After WWII he began working at Macklin Street Scenic Art Studios. [3]

Today he is credited as Tony Strong.[4]
