Emmanuel Chukwugozie Osinem is a professor of Agricultural Education & Training,[1] a coordinator of UNESCO-UNEVOC centre of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a former dean of Faculty of Vocational & Technical and the Founder of Innovations in TVET Research Group.[2][3][4][5]
Early life and education[edit]
Osinem was born on July 27, 1959, at Nise, in Awka South LGA of Anambra, Nigeria. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1975 at St Mark's Primary School, Gboko. In 1979, he obtained his West African School Certificate, Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) at Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri in 1982, B.Sc. Vocational Agricultural Education, in 1990 he obtained his Master of Education (Agricultural Education) and in 1996, he obtained his PhD Vocational Agricultural Education in University of Nigeria Nsukka.[6]
Administrative appointments[edit]
In 2010 he became the Coordinator of the UNESCO-UNEVOC UNIT. In 2016, he Founded Innovation in TVET Research Group and in the same year he became the Pioneer Head of Department of Agricultural and Bio-resources Education and in the same year he became the Director of Centre for Technical, Vocational Education, Training and Research. In 2018, he became the Dean of Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education.[2][7][8][1]
