Baek Seung-Jin (Korean: 백승진; born 1982) is a South Korean economist of the United Nations, specializing in political economy of sustainable development.

Early life and education

Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1982, Beak Seung-Jin studied mathematics at the Korea University where he earned qualification of U.S. Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and U.S. Associated Person (AP) of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.[1][2] He pursued graduate studies in strategy at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management where he was inspired to explore Technology S-Curve (Technology Life Cycle) in application to the field of strategic management.[3][non-primary source needed] Later, he received his Ph.D. in political economy from the University of Bath.[4][failed verification]
