Brookesia micra is a chameleon of the Brookesia genus. As of 14 February 2011, it is the smallest chameleon in the world, small enough to stand on the head of a match. In length, adult Brookesia micra can grow up to 1 inch (2.5 cm).[1]

Brookesia micra reaches a maximum snout-vent length in males of 16 mm, and its total length in both sexes is less than 30 mm, ranking it among the smallest amniote vertebrates in the world.
