Peronopsis is a genus of trilobite from the Cambrian. Its remains have been found in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.[1]

Peronopsis is represented by the following species in the Wheeler Shale of Utah: P. bidens, P. fallax, P. gaspensis, P. intermedius, P. interstrictus (the most common species), P. montis, and P. segmentus.

Synonyms

P. interstrictus, the main species, is sometimes erroneously known as P. interstricta.
