The 1968 Lamar Tech Cardinals football team represented the Lamar State College of Technology in the 1968 NCAA College Division football season as a member of the Southland Conference. The Cardinals played their home games at Cardinal Stadium now named Provost Umphrey Stadium in Beaumont, Texas. The team finished the season with a 0–10 overall record and a 0–4 conference record.
