Seeded number 8 in the quarterfinal round, Mobiline lost to top-seeded Alaska Milk.
Reinforced by former beermen import Larry Robinson in the Governor's Cup, the Phone Pals failed to advance in the final four semis, forcing Tanduay to a sudden-death playoff before losing, 75-84 on November 17.
