A. Mohammed John is an Indian industrialist and politician. He is a Member of Legislative Assembly in Ranipet Constituency thru All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, and minister of the state of Tamil Nadu for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.

Career

Mohamed John is a successful industrialist in leather manufacturing and exports. He was born in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. He was twice elected to Ranipet Municipality between 1996–2001 and 2001-2006.
