Abington Academy is an Academy in Wigston, Leicestershire, England.It opened in September 1957 as Abington High School.[1]


The history of the school is traceable to 1934, moving to its current site in 1954 and opening in September 1957.[2]

On 1 April 2012, Abington High School converted to an academy, becoming Abington Academy.
