Aleksandr I. Kolpakidi[1] (Russian: Александр Иванович Колпакиди; born 1962, in Tuapse[2]) is a Russian writer and historian.[3] He is a bestselling author.[4]

He graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University in 1983.[5]

He taught at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University.[6]

From 2003, he was the editor in chief of the publishing house at “Eksmo”.[7][8]

He has published a number of books.[9]

Aleksandr Kolpakidi lives and works in Moscow.[10]
