The Building at 52 Main Street in Southbridge, Massachusetts was built in the first two decades of the 20th century, in the section of Southbridge known as "The Flats". It was built during a housing boom brought about by the success of the nearby American Optical Company. It exhibits some features of Queen Anne styling, as well as the locally traditional French Canadian features, including exterior staircases and porch galleries wrapping around several sides of the house.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.[1]
