Carlo De Mejo (born 17 January 1945) is an Italian actor.

Life and career

Born in Rome, De Mejo is the eldest son of the jazz composer Oscar De Majo and of the actress Alida Valli.[1] After a few miror roles, he had his breakout with the role of a male prostitute in Pier Paolo Pasolini's Teorema.[1] In 1970 he played Claude in the Giuseppe Patroni Griffi's and Victor Spinetti's Italian adaptation of the stage musical Hair.[1] In the following years, he became very active as a character actor in genre films, especially in Lucio Fulci's cult horror films.[1][2]
