This category contains articles related to the Flora of northern Chile, a region of Chile in southern South America defined in the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (which calls it "Chile North") containing the Chilean regions:

The World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions does not contain recognize a region called "Chile", because of the country's great floristic diversity.

Taxa of the lowest rank are always included in a distribution category. Higher taxa are included only if endemic. Always use the distribution category for the largest area that is appropriate. If a plant occurs in most of the subcategories of a distribution category, use that category rather than the subcategories.
