Current and former members of U.S. state governor's cabinets. With the exception of the states of Florida and Texas, this does not include elected state executive branch officials or cabinet secretaries from non-state U.S. possessions such as Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, or American Samoa, but includes state executive department heads appointed by the state's Governor. In the states of Florida and Texas, both elected and appointed officials are included. Furthermore, in states where the Secretary of State, State Treasurer, or State Attorney General are appointed by the Governor, holders of those offices may be included. People who meet the inclusion criteria of this category, but have who have also served in an elected executive branch post may be included in this category and/or its subcategories.
