The Japanese Government supports technical training programs for overseas engineers through the bodies such as AOTS - Association of Overseas Technical Scholars, METI - Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan International Cooperation Agency and others. These programs have many objectives including but not limited to, transferring Japanese Technical Know-How to developing Nations, Japanese Industry Exposure, Supporting Japanese Corporations for developing their businesses overseas, Strengthening International Relations etc.
