Yaghnob is an ethno-linguistical region in Northwestern Tajikistan, the people living in the Yaghnob valley have their own language and traditions. The Region of Yaghnob is not just located in the Yaghnob valley, the Yaghnobi people migrated in some 18th century to southern slopes of the Hisar range and settled there in some villages, where they still keep their own language and culture different from Tajik one.
