Technically, of course, not all the things in this category are themselves corrective lenses. Most are devices that incorporate a corrective lens. I couldn't think of a better category name. One caveat though—this category should not be made a subcategory of category:lenses, because most devices in it are not themselves lenses but rather are optical devices.--Srleffler 06:03, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If your assertion is correct then perhaps the category description should be updated to reflect this. I was just about to add the category:lenses as a parent cat. --Hooperbloob 08:18, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, after I posted that I had a change of opinion. I'd be fine with this category being a subcat of category:lenses now, since that might aid people who are looking for, say Contact lens etc.--Srleffler 15:43, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
