Untitled[edit]

We already have the category of writers (which already has plenty of articles attached to it), why do we need novelists too? -- LGagnon 14:05, 31 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Novel writing is a sub-genre of writing. There's more to writing than novels; poetry, politics, letters, memoirs, etc. [[User:HamYoyo|HamYoyo|Contact Me!]] 15:24, May 31, 2004 (UTC)

Last time I checked...[edit]

...people are not books. Why is this category about people categorized as books? Though someone may come up with some artsy-fartsy explanation to the contrary, novelists are not the books they write. Why is Novelists a subcategory of Novels? (Please ping me if you reply to this post, I will not be watching it and I am well aware that category talk pages are rarely where discussions are had. This just wasn't important enough to post anywhere else about.) Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 22:55, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
