Former SuperMax Prison[edit]

USP Marion was downgraded to medium-security in 2006. Should this still be categorized as a Supermax although it no longer holds this status?--Broux (talk) 22:08, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I thought Supermax was uniquely applied to ADX Florence. The other ones featured seem to be Level 5, which I believe is not Supermax. Valetude (talk) 11:57, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology outside the US[edit]

This terminology is used extensively outside the US, as can be seen in the Supermax prison article. Why does the description restrict it to the US? I only looked at it after adding a South African prison I happened upon and was editing, and chose the category as an obvious name. Shouldn't there be a sub-category for the US, rather than restricting the general one to the US? Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:36, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
