There is no way that EPs could be counted as albums. By their very definition, EPs are longer than SPs (singles) but shorter than LPs (albums). See Category talk:The Beatles albums for another user's comment on this issue. McLerristarr | Mclay1 06:56, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WT:ALBUM First off, category talk pages are almost always bereft of posts. Secondly, there is a huge scheme of Category:EPs under Category:Albums and Category:EPs by artist under Category:Albums by artist.
