Clément Chantôme (born 11 September 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays for Stade Rennais F.C. in Ligue 1 as a central midfielder.

Career

In the past, Arsenal have been said to be interested in securing the youngster's services.[1][2]

After making just 20 starts at PSG in the 2012–13 season, Chantôme joined Toulouse on loan until the end of the 2013–14 Ligue 1 season on 21 August 2013, and was assigned the number 6 shirt.[3]

In January 2015, Chantôme left Paris after 15 years with the club, signing an 18-month contract with Bordeaux.[4]

In June 2016, after having a difficult season with Bordeaux, Chantôme signed with Rennes on a 3 year deal.[5]

International career

In 2008, he was a member of the France U-21 side.[6] Chantôme earned his first cap for the senior national football team of his country on 12 October 2012, after coming on as a substitute in the 0–1 loss against Japan in a friendly match.[7]
