Clinical Risk is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers six times a year in the field of clinical practice. The journal's editor is Hilary Merrett (University of Brighton). It has been in publication since 1995 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.

Scope

Clinical Risk publishes papers in the fields of patient safety, risk management and medico-legal issues. It prioritises the publications of research papers, reviews and commentaries on patient safety issues where there are implications for service provision, clinical and professional practice and healthcare governance. The journal also incorporates the Healthcare Risk report, the AvMA Medical and Legal Journal and the Healthcare & Law Digest.
