Arts Council for Monterey County, formerly known as The Cultural Council for Monterey County (CCMC), is the official arts agency for Monterey County, California. aCMC, a non-for-profit organization promotes and supports education, appreciation and excellence in the arts in Monterey County. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in the region through the arts. Formed in 1982, it serves as Monterey County's local partner to the California Arts Council. Richard Anderson, Ph.d is the current (2011) president of the Arts Council for Monterey County.

The Arts Council is the leading arts service agency providing financial, promotional and technical support to arts organizations and arts programs in the county, provides a comprehensive arts residency program for schools and a variety of art classes in community centers throughout the region.
