Dan Hirschhorn is an American national political journalist, who currently serves as senior politics editor and a deputy news editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer.[1] He has previously served as director of news at Time, Inc. and Time.com.[2]
Hirschhorn attended Brandeis University,[3] where he was editor-in-chief of the Brandeis independent student newspaper, The Justice.[4] Following graduation, he worked as a journalist for The Bulletin in Philadelphia.[3] He was the "Philly-based half" of PolitickerPA, a political news website operated by The New York Observer media company.[5]
Hirschhorn also founded pa2010.com, a website dedicated to the 2010 election cycle in Pennsylvania,[5] and worked at Politico.[6]

Dan Hirschorn, last seen as the Philly-based half of the late PolitickerPa.com, has re-emerged with a new Web site, pa2010.com -- a one-stop shop for the latest campaign news. In addition to news and analysis, Hirschorn said the site will include social-networking facets for campaign operatives and junkies.
