De Rijke is a Dutch surnames meaning "the rich (one)".[1] Other forms include De Rijk, De Rijck and De Rijcke, while in Belgium the "ij" can be replaced with a "y" and the article can be merged with the adjective. The variants without an article (Rijke) can also be of patronymic origin ("son of Rijk").[2] People with such surnames include:

De Rijck / De Rijk / De Ryck / De Ryk / Derijck
De Rijcke / De Rijke / De Ryke / Derycke
