Jesse Robinson (1828 - ?) was a state legislator and justice of the peace in Florida. He represented Jackson County in the Florida House of Representatives from 1868-1870 and 1873-1874. He served as a justice of the peace for Jackson County from 1876 - 1880. He worked at the U.S. Navy's yard in Pensacola. He also lived in Marianna, Florida.[1]

He served with Emanuel Fortune at the 1868 Florida Constitutional Convention. The two African Americans then held two of Jackson County's three seats in the Florida House of Representatives. Several African American represented Jackson County in the 1870s before a 110 year gap that followed.[2]
