Kotone Kamimoto (嘉味元 琴音, Kamimoto Kotone, born March 10, 2004[1]), better known mononymously as Kotone (Korean: 코토네), is a Japanese singer, and dancer based in South Korea. She is best known for being a member of the girl group tripleS.
Career[edit]
2021-present: Girls Planet 999, tripleS[edit]
On July 7, 2021, Kotone was officially announced as a contestant in Mnet's survival show Girls Planet 999 where she represented as an individual trainee and as one of the program's 33 Japanese contestants. She was eliminated in the eleventh episode.[2][3]
On January 2, 2023, Kotone became a member of the South Korean girl group tripleS.[4] On April 20, TripleS announced their third and fourth sub-units, Kotone was announced as the fifth member of EVOLution on April 26.[5][6]
