The Dudek Shark is a Polish single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by Dudek Paragliding of Bydgoszcz. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development[edit]

The Shark was designed as an intermediate glider and made from Skytex material with Technora lines. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.[1]

Operational history[edit]

Reviewer Noel Bertrand described the Shark in a 2003 review as "technically very elaborate".[1]

Shark 25
Small-sized model for lightweight pilots. Its 11.90 m (39.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25.19 m2 (271.1 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 65 to 90 kg (143 to 198 lb).[1]
Shark 27
Mid-sized model for medium weight pilots. Its 12.41 m (40.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 27.36 m2 (294.5 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 85 to 110 kg (187 to 243 lb).[1]
Shark 29
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.87 m (42.2 ft) span wing has a wing area of 29.44 m2 (316.9 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 105 to 130 kg (231 to 287 lb).[1]
