Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi College of Engineering (D.J. Sanghvi or DJ, as it is popularly known) is an engineering college in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The college was established by Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal in 1994.

D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering was established in 1994. It was named after Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi, an industrialist.
Departments [edit]
The college has an intake of 600 students in eight branches for Bachelor of Engineering degree of which 50% of the seats are reserved for the Gujarati linguistic minority.
- Chemical Engineering: 60 seats
- Electronics Engineering: 60 seats
- Production Engineering: 30 seats
- Biomedical Engineering: 30 seats
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: 120 seats
- Information Technology: 60 seats
- Computer Science: 120 seats
- Mechanical Engineering: 120 seats
In addition to this, 10–15 diploma students more are admitted every year during the second year of the Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology. Around five diploma students are added in the remaining branches.
The college also offers Master of Engineering degree in the following branches:
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: 18 seats
- Mechanical Engineering: 18 seats
- Computer Engineering: 18 seats
Library [edit]
The Manubhai P. Knowledge Centre library is situated on the first floor of the college building. It is facilitated with reprography and Wi-Fi network connection. There are about 17,000 books, 70 printed journals and magazines (national and international) with four online databases: IEEE, IEL Online, ASME, ACM, and Springer Link.
Festivals [edit]
The annual cultural festival of the college is known as Parichay. It is held in February or March and is attended by engineering students from colleges all over Mumbai.
The college also hosts a technical fest named Pulse. The festival includes events like wired, wireless and autonomous robotics, programming contests and quizzes, paper presentations, technical exhibition besides workshops and seminars by eminent faculty from across Mumbai.
The annual sports fest of the college is named "Iridescene".The festival is held in February and is attended by students from engineering colleges all over Mumbai.
