Elisa Miller is an award-winning cinematographer. She is the first Mexican female winner of the Golden Palm for a short fiction feature film in the 2007 Cannes Film Festival titled "Ver llover". "Watching it Rain," a third year school project filmed in Yautepec, Morelos, Mexico also won first prize at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia 2006; Best fiction short at the "Femina 2007" (Brazil) movie festival; the Norman McLaren (Canada) award; Coral award for best short fiction feature at the 2007 Habana Latinamerican Film Festival; Ariel award by the Mexican Academy of Film science and arts, etc.

Eli's short film "Roma" has also won important prizes: The Garcia Bross prize in Morelia Film Fest 2008, Best script in the Poitiers (France) film fest, in addition to prizes in Brazil and Portugal.
