Description
English: Birds-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), whorls of deep yellow flowers and side-stalk leaves with 2 leaflets at stem and 3 at tip (non-native). At 9,500 ft (2,900 m) along trailhead road past North Lake, just outside John Muir Wilderness, Sierra Nevada, California.
